Thursday May 20th -

This is a test to see if I am doing this correctly more than anything but since I'm here......

I rode an average of 100 miles per week in April (mostly short 20-25 mile training rides) and have been doing weight training (legs) since the first of the year. I've ramped it up to 125+ for May and hope to do 150 miles a week in June. My goal is to both get leaner and stronger (strength to weight ratio) to help me do the climbing. So far over the last couple of months I have dropped about 8 pounds and seem to be getting stronger. The real test will be the training rides in Dahlonega that will I will do over the next two months leading up to the trip. This week I will have ridden 5 days total, 4 in a row. Friday's a recovery day then it all starts again on Saturday. Whew!! and I'm just tired typing this
